Oh my goodness! Ashley was so nervous to have her photos taken, but I don’t know why because she is an ADORABLE pregnant lady!
Ashley is expecting a little girl in November and is signed up to have me take her newborn photos as well.
I cannot wait to meet her sweet bundle of joy.

I waited a few weeks to meet Miss April. Her mom went over her due date, so I waited, all giddy and excited to photograph another tiny baby.
April was such a calm and sweet little angel.
She just let me snap away and was not stingy with the poses.
April’s big sister, Lily, also came along and she was an absolute natural in front of the camera!

Little Aiden’s smash cake session was a last minute deal, but this is by far one of my absolute favorites.
Aiden did such a great job destroying his cake and this little man just blew me away with his piercing blue eyes!
Aiden’s brother, Ethan, came along on the session and I had the pleasure of taking his photos as well.

I was contacted by Lacy, Aaliyah’s mom, to have a smash cake session done as part of the Smash Cake session package that I offer.
Aaliyah is the first to sign up for this session package (which includes a mini session with me, a custom cake provided by Sweetest Revenge and a custom birthday outfit by Bo Peep Tutu Boutique).
Aaliyah was originally set to have an outdoor session, but due to the sudden decrease in warm weather and the pesky rain, we used my studio instead.
Aaliyah had a blast smashing her cake! At one point she even picked it right up and tossed it to the ground.

I just wanted to give a heads up to those of you with children in grades K-11. I will be offering school portraits {Creative Sessions} the first week of September.
Here are the details:
- September 4-7 2012
- $50/ 20 minutes
- Limit one child per session.
- Includes 3 different high resolution images on a disk with printing rights, 24 wallets & an 8×10 print.
I will be taking on 2 sessions each day for a total of 8 sessions. Appointments will be given to those who pay their session fee first.

Good Morning,
As a photographer and mother, memories are very important to me. A photograph is one of the most amazing things on this planet and I cherish every one. So when I am scrolling through my newsfeed on my Facebook page and come across a photographer belittling another photographer about their business strategies and pricing, it outrages me.
I know when I started my business I wanted to be known for my quality work and affordable pricing. I know what it is like to have children and bills and how important it is to have photographs of my family, so I wanted to reach out to the average family and offer my services. Yes being a photographer is very expensive, stressful, time consuming and competitive, but I love what I do. If I could afford to, I wouldn’t charge a penny, but I do have a family to help support.
I believe that so long as the photographer is paying taxes, running a legitimate clean business and producing quality images, then it’s nobody’s business what they charge. Do you choose a hairstylist based on their quality of work or how expensive they are? Choosing someone to capture your memories and create beautiful art should not be a status symbol. Choose the photographer who best suits your style, is friendly and approachable, who you believe you can count on to give you the quality images that you deserve.
Just be nice & respect the arts for what they are. Don’t let greed and jealousy ruin your talent.
